Opened in January 2010, 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA is an institution on the Hong Kong fine dining scene, delighting italian gourmands for more than a decade. Named after Chef Umberto Bombana’s favorite Italian film director Federico Fellini’s 1963 movie “8 ½”, the three Michelin starred restaurant is located in Central’s Landmark Alexandra building and stands as a vibrant celebration of Italian lifestyle, art and culture, inviting gourmands to discover the simple pleasures and indulgences of fine Italian gastronomy.

Bombana loves Italy and he often uses his dishes and his recipes, which are a real love story among ingredients, to talk about his country.

Cocktail Bar and Lounge
The Cocktail Bar & Lounge is open all day, from Monday to Saturday, from 12noon until the closure of the restaurant.
Main dining room
The main dining room can comfortably seat 55 people in an open and modern space. The style of the interior design and furniture perfectly match the philosophy of the concept focused on its genuine contemporary Italian cuisine.
